Male / Female Hydraulic Adaptors
Hydraulic adaptors with male thread one end, i.e. the thread is on the outside, and female thread at other end of fitting, i.e. the thread is on the inside. They are designed to be leak free when connected to other adaptors. The Female end may be fixed or swivel. Swivel-type fittings are designed to allow the coupling and hose connection to rotate, which prevents twisting, kinking and excessive bending. That can extend hose life and reduce maintenance.
