Bulkhead Hydraulic Adaptors

Hydraulic bulkhead fittings, also known as tank adapters, facilitate the transfer of fluids and gases through the wall, panel, steel plate or other barrier of a tank. These fittings join two hoses or tubes in a system, enabling the connection of a hydraulic hose from an internal pressurized vessel to components in a hydraulic system outside the vessel.

Bulkhead fitting threads come in a variety of types such as NPT, JIC 37° Flare, O-ring Face Seal, O-ring Boss, DIN, and BSP. Bulkhead fittings serve multiple purposes, for example: connecting internal pumps within a tank, connecting two hoses or tubes that have to pass through a barrier, connecting hoses to pumps & valves, and providing air/watertight bulkheads in tanks & ships. Bulkhead fittings are widely applied in a range of industries, including aerospace, automotive, chemical processing, construction & agricultural, mining, oil & gas, and pulp & paper. They are available in a variety of sizes and materials, and can be combined with other hydraulic adapters such as swivels and elbows for tight areas or multiple connections. These components are key to many hydraulic and instrumentation systems.
